Alexis's 3rd Birthday

Once upon a time our little princess was so excited to have a "Princense Birthday Party." (That's how she says princess). We invited a few friends over to help her celebrate. I was a little nervous as she was throwing her first massive 3 year old tantrum complete with screaming and crying up to 2 minutes before the first guest showed up. But all was well as each princess made their grand entrance up the red carpet and into the party. Especially when Lexi saw they came bearing gifts. They had a fun time and you could tell they felt very special dressed up in their beautiful dresses. And they all lived happily ever after

Mixing It Up with Lexi

Our little Lexi likes to help in the kitchen. The other day I asked her if she wanted to help me make some cookies, because I was really wanting some. She gladly consented and immediately got into position to help. I really do hope she loves to bake when she's older. I love it and have visions of us in the kitchen when she's older baking and having some good, long chats. You'd think her favorite part about the whole process would be the warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven. Not so. She could care less about the cookie, it's the chocolate chips she's after! Don't we all sneak in a few while pouring them into the dough? She's in heaven licking the spoon and bowl clean after we're done. And her face is proof of that too!

Alexis

What a character our sweet, little Lulu is. (Don't know where we came up with the nickname but it has stuck). She surprises us daily. She is so sweet but can also hold her own with her older brothers. About a month ago Collin was laying on the floor in her way so she bit him on the behind! It was hard to get after her because I was laughing so hard! She just started walking a few weeks ago and is getting around quite well and is getting fast quickly.
