Alexis's 3rd Birthday

Once upon a time our little princess was so excited to have a "Princense Birthday Party." (That's how she says princess). We invited a few friends over to help her celebrate. I was a little nervous as she was throwing her first massive 3 year old tantrum complete with screaming and crying up to 2 minutes before the first guest showed up. But all was well as each princess made their grand entrance up the red carpet and into the party. Especially when Lexi saw they came bearing gifts. They had a fun time and you could tell they felt very special dressed up in their beautiful dresses. And they all lived happily ever after

Lexi's First Day of School

Lexi had her first day of preschool and dance/singing class this week. I can hardly believe she's old enough to do this already. I had no worries about her starting preschool as she knows her teacher really well! She was so excited to finally get to use her "princense" backpack instead of just wearing it while we take the boys to school. Her favorite part of preschool this week was, "fishies and crackers." Who doesn't love snack time?

She has Performance Academy once a week and loved her first day there. She couldn't get enough of the singing and dancing and could be heard warming up her voice all week singing, "Maaaaaaa" throughout the house. Collin had to tell her to stop as it was giving him a headache! She's also been practicing her step, touch all week. Who knew it could be so difficult for a preschooler?!

The Kids

Aren't they just precious?!

The First Day of School . . .

and I didn't cry this year! Although I had a lump in my throat, especially as I rounded the corner of the school to take Collin to Kindergarten. I'm learning no matter how young or old they are, it's just hard to let go. But I can take joy in the fact that both Collin and Jackson have awesome teachers this year. I'm excited for them. Here are my cute little guys as they enter 2nd Grade and Kindergarten.
