And the Winner Is . . .

We have decided on a name for the baby. She will be named Brooklyn. We haven't decided on a middle name yet, but it will probably be Rebecca, after my sister who died of SIDS when she was 7 months old. Thanks to those of you who gave us your input!

8 Years

Yes, it's 5:00 in the morning. I've been up since 4:00 but can't get back to sleep. The joys of the end of pregnancy! But it's okay. I'm on vacation without kids so I can take a nap later.

Kurt and I just celebrated our 8th Anniversary on June 2. We can't believe it's already been that long. We just happened to luck out that Kurt's company flew a bunch of them and spouses up for a retreat to Tamarack Resort near Donnelly, Idaho (about 2 hours from Boise) for 3 days and it just happened to be our anniversary. It's been raining and cold here most of the time, but very pretty and relaxing.

Eight years ago at this time, we were touring Italy, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland on our honeymoon. Kurt had a little more hair, I didn't have my 3 gray hairs, and we both had a lot more energy. But in that time that has passed we have had 3 almost 4 little cuties that Iwouldn't trade for anything. I can't wait to wrap my arms around them tonight when we get home!
