Red Ribbon Week. It's Over!!!!!

This year I'm serving as the Health Commissioner for our school's PTA. As such, I was in charge of Red Ribbon Week at the school. Thank goodness I had such a great committee. It was a lot of work. Providing activities for 775 kids every day for 5 days is a little tiring. But it all turned out great from what I've heard. On Friday, we ended with a parade around the school followed by an assembly with the REAL Salt Lake soccer mascot, Leo the Lion. The kids loved it and it made the whole week worth it. I just wish I wouldn't have been sick the whole week! I paid the price that weekend. It was worth it to do it for the kids. Drug free is the key!
